Broussard, Louisiana, USA – August 20, 2015 – LQT Industries, LLC, a full-service provider of high quality accommodation facilities, design-build construction services, and support services to the oil and gas industry, has delivered and commissioned the first of three (3) fully automated E-Houses for a major oil and gas field offshore of Venezuela.
LQT provided an offshore commissioning team for the final integration of the facility to the operator’s requirements and specifications. LQT engineered and built the E-Houses which contain switchgear, motor control centers, battery systems and associated chargers, and owner-provided automation and support systems.
LQT anticipates the final two (2) E-Houses will be integrated and fully commissioned in the fourth (4th ) quarter of 2015 and first (1st ) quarter of 2016.
